Christmasify has no account, no analytics and no tracking. It goes online for two things only: checking your license and looking for updates.

What stays on your Mac
Everything Christmasify does to decorate your screen happens on your Mac and never leaves it:
- Music-reactive lights (macOS calls this permission “System Audio Recording”). The sound your Mac plays is measured for loudness and beats so the lights can move. It isn't recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
- Accessibility. Christmasify reads the position and size of menu bar icons and Dock icons so the reindeer, the gingerbread man and the Dock lights line up with them. It never reads what you type or what's inside your windows.
- Window positions. To pile snow on top of your windows, Christmasify reads where windows are on screen (their frames). It doesn't read window titles or contents.
- Lid angle and trackpad. The lid sensor and the trackpad's haptic motor are only used for the avalanche and Santa's kicks.
- Your settings, trial start date and license key are stored on your Mac (in preferences, the Keychain and Application Support).
What goes over the network

Like every server, these services see your IP address when your Mac connects to them.
Buying
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. They collect your email address, payment details and billing country to process the sale, send your license key and handle taxes and refunds. We never see your card details. Dodo's privacy policy covers that data.
This website
christmasify.app is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and has no analytics, ads or cookies of our own. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs.
Deleting your data
To remove everything Christmasify stores on your Mac, quit it, move it to the Trash, and delete ~/Library/Application Support/Christmasify. To ask Dodo Payments to delete your purchase details, contact us and we'll pass it on.
